PAC’s new Polyjacket mailers receive SCS Global Services certification

US-based customised packaging manufacturer PAC Worldwide has earned sustainability endorsement from SCS Global Services for recycled content in its Poly Mailers.

The certification from SCS Global Services offers e-commerce companies a way to demonstrate their sustainability commitments to environmentally conscious consumers.

It also serves as an independent verification to counteract concerns about corporate greenwashing.

The company has launched a new stock programme for its Polyjacket flat poly mailers, featuring 50% certified recycled content, including 45% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material.

This initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to ensuring all its flexible packaging products are recyclable, reusable, or compostable by 2025.

PAC Worldwide’s other products such as Polyjacket with up to 87% recycled content, Airjacket bubble mailers, and WicketPAC wicket poly mailers with 50% recycled content, have also received SCS Global Services Certification.

These certified products are part of a broader range of sustainable options provided by PAC Worldwide, including the Ecojacket padded paper mailer, which has been rated ‘Optimally Recyclable’ by How2Recycle.

PAC Worldwide offers a variety of choices to brands, allowing them to select the most suitable mailer for their needs while considering the environmental impact.

The company also delivers sustainability awareness to consumers and businesses on how products affects greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and others.

PAC Worldwide president Thomas Parenteau said: “We are working with smart, experienced packaging buyers who understand the complexity of the sustainability puzzle.

“They ask great questions about material sourcing, the manufacturing process, and how we can help them with consumer education. We designed our new poly mailer programme to address those needs.”
